Hanjin opens in the Netherlands: everything from one partner
A Korean company opening a branch in the Netherlands does not know the Dutch market, so it looks for someone who arranges everything. For Hanjin, CameraInstallatie.nl did exactly that. We ordered the internet connection and delivered the cameras, the alarm, the electrical work, the network, the WiFi, the firewall, the fibre and the access control. The advice, the coordination and the planning were ours too. Everything was ready a week before the move.
- Opening a Dutch branch
- One partner for all of it
- Advice on Dutch rules
- Ready a week early
- Follow-up work straight after

What we arranged for this new branch
Not only installing, but also ordering, advising and steering.
You open a branch in a country you do not know
Picture it. Your company is based in Korea and you are opening a branch in the Netherlands. You do not know how things work here. You do not know the companies, and you have no idea what to expect. What you need is not an installer. You need someone who takes the whole technical side off your hands.
That is what Hanjin came to us with. They wanted one party for the internet connection, the alarm, the cameras, the electrical work, the wired and the wireless network, the firewall, the cabling, the fibre and the access control. In short, all of it.
The photo above shows the day we started: an empty hall with dock doors, a scissor lift and nothing else. That is the moment when everything is still possible. The choices you make then decide how the building will work later.
One of our engineers with an access point. On projects like this we supply and install the WiFi as well.

Arranging is half the job, steering is the other half
The difference here was not in the mounting. Anyone can learn that. The difference was in thinking along: where you can save sensibly, where you should not, and which Dutch laws and regulations you have to meet.
That takes some steering as well. They do not know the Netherlands, we do. So we do not only say what is possible. We also say what is sensible, what is usual here and where people tend to get stuck. For a client who is new to the country, that saves a lot of expensive lessons.
Before the work started we had several meetings with four things on the table: the budget and the costs, the solution itself, the project approach and the deadline. Only when all four are clear can a client decide.
And then there is trust, because you do not know each other yet. On a first job the question is always the same. Who are we dealing with, and do they keep their word? What we say has to be right, and what we promise, we deliver. Otherwise there is no second job. Rightly so.
From first meeting to ready for use
We follow this order for every new branch, in the Netherlands and abroad.
A week before the move, everything was ready
Not on the day itself, and not just in time. A week before, complete and tested. The last point says the most to us: a client who asks you to look after their technology in other countries does not do that for the price. They do it because the trust is there.
What a foreign client runs into in the Netherlands
On this type of job we check the points below as standard.
Questions from companies opening a Dutch location
Can you really arrange everything?
Yes. Ordering the internet, cabling and fibre, network and WiFi, firewall, CCTV, alarm, access control and the electrical work that goes with it. You have one point of contact for all of it.
We do not know the Dutch rules.
You do not need to. We advise on what you have to comply with and build it into the plan, so nothing has to be changed afterwards.
Do you speak English?
Yes. We work in Dutch and in English, so you can follow everything and make your own decisions.
What does it cost and when is it ready?
You get that up front. Before the work starts we agree the budget, the solution, the approach and the deadline, and we stick to it.
When should we start?
Earlier than most people think. The internet order and the cabling decide the lead time. The earlier we join, the calmer the handover.
Do you also do our other locations?
Yes, abroad as well. We already work for several clients at locations outside the Netherlands, with the same people and the same standard.
